I calculate a stat here which Warframe doesn't display to players:
----I abbreviated "Magazine Time 'Til Empty" as "Mgzn. TTE".
----I use "Mgzn. TTE" to mean "Starting from a full magazine and firing on full-auto, without stopping, how long does it take to completely empty the magazine once the trigger has been engaged?"
----Or, more simply, "Spray'n'pray fer' HOW long?!"

This weapon with this mod loadout is best utilized against Grineer units, due to its elemental combinations:
----Toxic + Cold elemental damage combine to form Viral damage, which has a +75% bonus damage against Grineer enemies.
----The other two base damage types, Fire and Electricity, are also included, and they combine to form Radiation damage. (Though this is not done specifically to combat the Grineer.)

The reasoning behind the mod loadout:
----Venomous Clip and Polar Magazine both add +120% base damage of Toxin and Cold damage, respectively, which combines to form Viral damage -- highly effective against the Grineer. (Even more effective in ArchWing missions, because every single Grineer enemy which spawns in ArchWing mode is extremely weak to Viral damage.
--------The slot for Venomous Clip requires a '-' polarization -- the player must level this weapon to level 30, then use a Forma to polarize the slot themselves.
--------The slot for Polar Magazine does NOT require any polarization.

----Magma Chamber is included because it grants +60% raw Heat damage. The +60% status boost is just a nice bonus.
--------The slot for Magma Chamber does NOT require any polarization.

----Dual Rounds is included because, while based on a fairly low chance of occurring, a 30% of shooting an 'extra' bullet is much better than a 10% chance at a critical hit.
--------This is even more apparent once you realize that both the original bullet, and the 'extra' one each have a 10% to have a critical hit themselves.
--------The slot for Dual Rounds requires a 'V' polarization -- the player must level this item to level 30, then use a Forma to polarize the slot themselves.

----Electrified Barrel is included for the same reason as Magma Chamber -- it grants bonus damage. As opposed to Magma Chamber's +60% heat damage / +60% status chance, however, Electrified Barrel adds +120% electricity damage.
--------The slot for Electrified Barrel does NOT require any polarization.

----Combustion Rounds is included, (just like Magma Chamber and Electrified Barrel), for the significant damage boost it provides: +120% base damage in heat damage
--------The slot for Combustion Rounds does NOT require any polarization.

----Rubedo-Lined Barrel -- Straight damage increase; +60%
--------The slot for Rubedo-Line Barrel requires a 'V' polarization -- the player must level this item to level 30, then use a Forma to polarize the slot themselves.
------------This mod boosts ALL damage on the weapon it is slotted into -- the Pistol and Rifle versions, (used by Warframes) are Hornet Strike, and Serration, respectively.

----Automatic Trigger -- Increases the fire-rate of the gun by 45%, which doesn't have much of a drawback, because the gun regenerates its own ammo (at a rate of 50 rounds/second) when it is not being fired.
--------The slot for Automatic Trigger requires a 'V' polarization, which is already included when you first obtain the gun.


----The Radiation damage actually doesn't deal a huge bonus to Grineer. However, in order to get the best damage-output possible from THIS weapon (because each of the elemental mods grants a +120% damage bonus when at max rank), it is advisable to prioritize damage-increasing mods as opposed to mods which increase critical chance/damage or the chances of inflicting a status effect.
--------The Imperator weapon has a low critical-hit change per-bullet, an average critical multiplier of x2.0, and a low status-proc chance.
------------Attempting to use these as defining features of your build, and including mods to boost these stats, is inadvisable at this time.



It may be wise (if you prefer to fire constantly, as opposed to actively managing your ammo), to swap out the Magma Chamber mod for a rank-3 Magazine Extension*, as this will increase the duration for which you can fire full-auto. (Magma Chamber is the recommended swap here because you lose out on only a +60%heat/+60%status bonus, which is far less of a penalty than you would suffer for removing any of the other mods.)
Best used in brief bursts of no more than 3-4 seconds, so as to retain a healthy supply of ammo in case you get into a pinch.
(Because on full-auto, these things chew through your entire magazine in a mere 10.3 seconds.)

Since using the Automatic Trigger mod the RoF has increased by 45%, and the new base RoF is 24.21 rounds/second. The overall multishot percentage hasn't changed from 30%, but since the base RoF increased, there's a greater number of bullets per second, each of which has its own individual 30% multishot chance. This isn't a straight up guarantee of "You're getting more firepower", but it's pretty close.
End result?
____[24.21 * 1.30)] = 24.21 + 7.26 ~~ 31.473* rounds/second (Call it 31.5 rounds/second.)


The major key difference here, though, is that those extra 7.26 bullets each second (averaged) aren't being deducted from your magazine. They're free ammunition, in a sense.
And free shots, assuming they hit (practice makes better), are a nice boost to DPS, because they share the same chances for status and critical effects as the magazine-bullets do.
